However, the straps do not hold a rifle tight so it will move around if the bag is not secured. **Q: Ive got a 32" ar15 and a 41" mossberg 590 retrograde. Do I have to ge the 48?** A: My guess is you’ll need at least the 42” so that the Mossberg fits at a slight diagonal inside the case but without doubt the 48” will accommodate them. **Q: Does this 36" case actually hold a 36" rifle ??
