OtterBoxUniversal Armband for 4"-5" Smartphones - Retail Packaging - Black

The media could not be loaded.  This is a review of the OtterBox UNIVERSAL ARMBAND for 4"-5" Smartphones - BLACK.Make sure you know what you're getting here. This is not a protective case that envelopes your smartphone and will protect it from rain or heavy sweating. This is simply an ingenious armband that holds a smartphone out in the open but firmly to your upper arm.Your phone is secured by a "cup" of flexible silicone rubber at the top and bottom. It's claimed to be a "universal" fit. What I can say with confidence is that my iPhone6s fits in here very well and is totally secure. I'm also quite happy that I can put my phone in this armband without having to take off the case that my iPhone is in. The armband easily holds the phone in its case.The armband to which the smartphone and flex cradle attaches to is very thin, flexible and sweat resistant. It has a key pouch that lets you slide a house key into, or you could stash a couple of rolled up bills in there. There is also reflective striping around the edges of the armband.I think this thing is brilliant. As long as you aren't caught in the rain or someone who sweats crazily, this armband holds your smartphone really well on your arm without slipping. Two different sized elasticized velro straps are provided so just about anyone will get the proper fit here.Bottom line is that this is a great armband for holding your smartphone. It's not a protective case however, so choose carefully.

Samsung Galaxy S6 in otterbox defender case is very snug. Not sure if a bigger phone would fit, especially in a bulky case. Lower strap does cover the home button, but the plastic bends enough it can still be used. Overall a very nice case, leaves the volume and power buttons exposed, and there is no plastic shield like most armbands incorporate making the phone much more usable.

Easy enough to take on and off, but frustrating to use when on. You cannot access the home button, with an older iPhone, and you cannot access the camera with a newer one in order to log in and out to manage things as simple as your playlist or send a quick text while at the gym.

The armband seems well made. I don't know if it is long lasting as it didn't fit my devices, one was too small the other too large. Comes with two lengths of band...

This band fits most if not all phones and is great for running. The band does not slide and i have not had any reactions to the band (and i have very sensitive skin).

The arm band stays in place and throughout my runs and workouts. I love that I don't have to take my phone out of it's OtterBox. Easy to tighten once on the arm.

This product is complete garbage. Moisture regularly gets in under the plastic screen cover making it impossible to type or use the phone. You have to regularly disassemble the case and clean it out.

Fantastic arm band. Holds my phone nice and tight. Still allows me to use my touchscreen. Does not love while running

I love it. It fits my LG G4 with a commuter case. I've been using it for 1 month now, and the only downside is the keyhole/key holder is exhibiting wearr and tear, but the phone certainly stays in place. It also comes with 2 sized bands, which is great.

The rubber holding will fit most phones. I have an iPhone 5/SE with an Otterbox Defender case, and this works. There are few options on the market for this set up. Handy access to ports and buttons both top and bottom. One down side is that it is not waterproof as leaves your phone totally exposed. Therefore good for gym, or dry outdoor runs. Comes with 2 straps which fit most arms (you can use the smaller one for your forearm for example, and the larger for your upper arm). No access to home button when in the case. The phone does not bounce around and stays close to your arm. Overall very happy with this product so far. (-1 star as not waterproof case, and no access to home button).

Terrible product. I'm usually a fan of OtterBox items, but this was a complete dud. My phone is the proper size, but it would not fit securely at all. It was also difficult to get on and the velcro was quite weak.
