Saved my couch
Totally saved my couch. The zipper broke on the couch. The zipper was going to be hard to remove and I thought we were going to have to replace to the couch. However, I saw this and thought it's worth a try. So glad I did. It worked fantastic. Easy to use and works great. I told my friends about the product. But it.

Sturdy zippers, but hard and painful to zip
In case you missed this in the product description, the multipacks come with a variety of sizes. I’m not sure if it’s more cost effective to buy a single vs a pack, but the pack is good in case you need random sized zippers on hand to fix a multiple sized zippers. I do find the price high though but that’s because these zippers are imported from Sweden. The zippers themselves are very sturdy. I found that they do fix the zippers fairly quickly, but it’s not an easy glide. Meaning, you have to pull hard on the zipper tab to get it to move. And the bad thing about this is that the tab has a spike on it which makes it’s uncomfortable to use. I also wouldn’t advise using this on children’s apparel or backpacks for that reason.Once clamped, the zipper doesn’t feel like it will come off. However, if you want to remove the zipper, it does take a screwdriver and patience to wiggle it open. While this zipper is made well and installation is relatively easy, I’m still looking for an alternative that glides more easily and doesn’t have a spike on it.

Works, but not as easy to replace as the directions make it look
I had a Land's end jacket with the upper part of the zipper claps was broken. I HIGHLY recommend using the type and size chart to make sure you get the right zipper that you need. It was not easy to get the broken zipper part off. The guide showing it being snipped off is false advertising for the ease to remove broken piece. No ordinary tool can do that. I ended up jamming to flat head screwdrivers into opposite ends of the side channel and twisted them in opposite directions to widen the channel and pull the piece off. I also had to use a flat head screwdriver on the new piece to hold the bottom and pop the pull down to open the new piece (Not easy to pull open with your fingers as the illustrations show. But, once I got that far, it was easy to snap the new piece on and it works like a charm!I would suggest to the company to offer more than just black and silver options. My jacket had navy blue powder coated zippers. It would have been nice to have it match (or come close), rather than a black half and a blue half.

So easy! Huge money and time saver!!
Oh I am so so happy! My ziper on my work jacket broke like 6 months ago so I haven't been able to wear it, I was trying to figure out how I could replace the entire zipper line since I thought that was my only option. Then I found this baby. I just replaced the zipper on that jacket in about 3 minutes! The first 2 minutes 45 seconds was me struggling with a wire cutter to cut off the old zipper (very limited tools in a hospital) but I literally just snapped it on one side and BOOM fully functioning zipper!!

Quick and Easy (at least to put on)
Very quick to snap on, and works great! Initially, I was looking to hire someone to replace the zipper, but I'm so glad I found this product. It is so easy. Just make sure you get the right type and size of zipper, based on the chart given in one of the photos of the listing. There was a 5 on the back of my original zipper puller, and I could tell from the pictures that it was the plastic version. So, the Plastic (L) worked for what I needed. I took a couple of pictures after it was on. (Not sure why it looks shiny like its metal in the pictures, but I got the black color zipper pull)The toughest part though was to take the other zipper puller off. I actually put this ZlideOn zipper pull replacement on first, and then figured if I wasn't able to take off the other zipper puller, I could deal with it, and just not be able to pull my zipper puller all the way to the top. However, if you have the right tools, you can get the original zipper puller off easier. As pictured, I tried the cutter tool on the right first, and that did not work well. I found that I had the other cutter on the left (not sure what it is called), but it worked much better to get the original zipper puller off. It still took a little bit to get off, but I got it off.
O**!
This actually works really well.
Aside from the strangely sharp piece on the back side of the replacement (which I plan to file down just enough to take the sharpest bit off) , everything was easy, quick and so far functional. I managed to save my son's favorite pair of black Levi's in about 3 minutes. The entire zipper pull piece was missing and I was concerned about lining up the zipper teeth in the new zipper pull piece, but it was really easy. Most of the time it took to get it attached was me reding the instructions, taking the piece out of the packaging and just staring at the zipper teeth trying to figure out how to align it all perfectly. And as it turns out, that just wasn't an issue. I highly recommend this item!

Seemed promising
I wanted to repair a missing pull tab for a zipper on a piece of luggage. I measured the zipper according to the directions, and purchased the XL size. The part I received seemed sturdy and well made. Unfortunately the installation did not work for me. When closed, the part would not correctly grip the zipper teeth to open or close the zipper. When I tried to reopen the assembly, it would not open enough for me to successfully reposition it on the zipper teeth. Ultimately I wound up bending it and rendering it completely unusable. Others have had better luck, so it may be worth a try for you.

You may need to go 1 size UP!
I measured the zipper per the instructions, before ordering, but found the xs to be a bit too small for my 5mm jacket zipper. I’m going to keep this one and order a variety pack with a few sizes. I’ll keep what I don’t use for this jacket as replacements for other things when needed.Update: sure enough, the next size up worked wonderfully. These fit nicely, snap on easily, and work very well. There is one thing to be very aware of, the harpoon on the back of these zippers that they have to keep it from sliding back down when you close the zipper pole. The manufacturer should do these down so they’re not so damn sharp. I actually poked my finger this morning, it’s very sharp.
