I have long straight hair and it did not work very well for me. If i do it too loose, it slides down. If I tighten, it gave me headaches. Because these seem to last somewhere between 100 and infinity times longer than any other hair tie I've ever used. I'm a 40+ year old male, with laughably thick, longer than shoulder length hair. All other hair ties I've used last a day or two, the glued together connection snaps, I tie the ends in a knot, and it lasts a few weeks longer. Then I tried these. According to Amazon, I bought my first pack 2 years ago. The first one I used, the glued connection snapped after a few weeks, so I tied it just like the rest. But.........Then apparently these will last indefinitely. I'm literally still using the FIRST ONE I pulled out of the package. I used two of them at a time to manage the man bun. I'll check back in on this review in a couple decades and let you know how the other 4 in the package hold up, IF I ever get around to needing them. I'm shocked, awestruck, amused, and maybe even a little bid frightened by how well this 3 dollar purchase has held up.
