Good quality Metal and easy to open but tricky to install M.2 ssd
Excellent quality and very easy tool free enclosure maximum capacity of storage cam use 4TB, little bit tricky to hold M.2 NvMe ssd, with this enclosure only one rubber gormat for holding NvMe SSD, at least it should be one more extra because could be break easily after some time.

Solid enclosure
This is a solid enclosure and very nicely made. It was super wasy to install my drive BUT it won't fit in Sabrents fancy USB-C hub. It says the EC-NVME and EC-other one so I thought it would fit but its just a little too fat. Im going to exchange it for the other one that fits in their hub or else I would be super happy keeping this beast.

Excellent!
This is housing a 4tb Crucial nvme. The casing is a very thick aluminum block that looks great. This storage works perfectly with my PC and HP Spectre laptop. The only negative is the rubber tab when placing the nvme in the slot, you literally need to have the rubber tab already in the slot and when placing the nvme. Put the nvme in the casing, use a small screwdriver to bend the rubber tab away from the nvme then push down the nvme, push the rubber tab in the nvme opening. This actually required some effort. Also, the temperature of the casing gets mildly warm. Very happy with this enclosure and this matches my Sabrent TB3 enclosures.

This isn't the same as reviews you may have seen.
Unfortunately, this isn't the same item as you've seen in reviews elsewhere. It is also not the same item as the one in it's instruction manual. Instead of the nice magnetic standoff with the drive enclosure, you get this aggravating little rubber plug. You have to slide it in, and then bend it way off to the side and sort of cram the end of your drive into it. It's not a great design vs the one that's advertised. I was not terribly happy to be getting a product different than what I thought I purchased originally. On top of this, the drive comes with two thermal pads, but there is no mention of what to do with them in the instructions. You have to install them on to the lid and there are markers for where the corners go. The holes in the pad don't line up perfectly, but the ones with screws in the top layer do at least. The issue is since there's no real instructions on the pads, you have to fiddle with it until you figure out which one to use. Get it wrong, and you've gotta reinstall it too which means pretty much rendering the other one useless if you ever needed it in the future. I assume the pads MIGHT be for double sided drives, but at this point I'm not really sure, and the video reviews on it I saw them only using one pad.The enclosure seems to be pulling heat off the drive when it's in extended use as it does get quite warm, but since you're hooking it up via usb you lose the ability to see the temperature sensor. It was a slight concern given the thermal pad issues, but that's just a limitation of an external enclosure, and as best as I can tell it was doing the job adequately. I did a rather lengthy file transfer to it without issues or dips in speed. The source was only capable of supplying ~215 MB/sec, but I have pulled data off it at 800 MB/sec sustained for 10 minutes roughly too.
