Review: Nice buffer tube in V1 position - Does a good job as a buffer tube. Gave a different character (a little more organic sounding) to my Randall RM100 guitar amp.
Review: Nice Tubes - I use these for the preamp in my Doge integrated amplifier and in V1 of my tube guitar amps when I'm looking to reduce the gain from a 12Ax7. The Tung Sols have the closest tone I could find to NOS RCA 12AX7's. I'll sometimes spring for the RCA12AY7's but they are getting quite expensive, and the Tung Sol is an excellent and affordable alternative.
