I live in London and tap water has a distinct flavour that’s not pleasant and that’s completely gone.One important thing to note, it takes a while to filter. But it does speed up over a couple of weeks. When I managed to get it off, it went flying across the kitchen and landed on the floor.Slower than my old filterAfter initially setting it up, no water filtered through. Eventually there was a drip being filtered. This has speeded up a bit but I still have to plan ahead and leave it for a while.You are left with a small bit of unfiltered water in the top partThere is a always a bit of water which does not pass through the membrane and filter. So when you go to pour the filtered water, you end up pouring the unfiltered bit into a glass as well.I have tried to put the glass at a 45o angle to just get the filtered water in the glass but because of the design the unfiltered water gets poured down as well. If you were using water where it was crucial that all of it was filtered then this could be an issue. I think that you would either have to put something down to mop up the unfiltered water.
