Secures the phone the way it should, the vacuum grip is super strong. If you want reliability for your high end phone, this is the car mount you should go for.

This suction cup based mobile holder has been mounted on my car's windshield glass ever since I purchased it 9 months back from Amazon and it has since seen a season each of summer, rain and winter.My car is normally parked on the road outside (with no covered parking shed). The rubber based suction cup has held up to the windshield glass without losing its grip ever (although I now see the suction cup has turned from transparent to slightly yellowish in colour due to the exposure of UV light and heat).I am using OnePlus X mobile (5" screen) and this holder holds my phone securely. The two side clamps of the holder has got some sort of ratchet which clicks into discrete positions that holds the phone securely in place. My only gripe is that the side clamps of the holder cover the volume button and if you press them a bit more tightly against the phone, the clamp presses it.The part holding the mobile is detachable from the stem and the stem is quite stiff in itself. It needs a bit of effort to bend the stem but once bent the stem retains its position even when the car goes over bumps.Tip: In order to adjust the position of the mobile phone, remove the holder from the stem first and then adjust the position of the stem instead since the stem is quite stiff and positioning the mobile phone by moving the holder part is quite difficult.All in all, although this product is quite expensive compared to others, Capdase racer pro Car mount holder is worth its price for the quality of the product.
