Handy, works well, good value
Works well and has several handy tips that can be used--not just for soldering, but also for woodburning, and for cutting plastics, etc. The adjustable heat feature and on off switch is very hand.I would have given it 5 stars, but the On/Off switch is down near the plug, where it's hard to reach if you're plugged into a wall outlet that's just above the floor, or at the plug on an extension cord--you can just as easily unplug it in that situation.SUGGESTION: Move the On/Off switch up closer to the soldering iron!!

Small and great for small jobs such as circuit boards
Small and great for small jobs such as circuit boards. Not to happy with the handle quality. At high heat the solder bend where the handle and tip begins. The tightening knob is poorly made and the resting stand is to small. It does the job great if you can get a better stand and use zero pressure.upgraded my review solely because their costumer service. I been exchanging few emails with my feedback and they even offered to replace or refund my product. I was just trying to give my opinion and how it can be improved.

I like the included accessories
They warn you not to set it too hot. It actually melts the rubber grip, and things go wobbly. Very cheaply made product, but it does melt solder. I like the included accessories.

Great customer service
UPDATEAfter my initial review, the company reached out to me and offered me a full refund as well as a replacement. I will just have to keep this one at a lower temperature and/or not leave it on as long. Rating for great customer service.**************************************************It's an okay kit and seemed to be a decent iron until I started using it. After about an hour of using it at 375C (The max is 450C) plastic around the iron melted and without the support of the plastic the whole head just hung there. I turned off the heat and moved it back into position so it cooled back in the correct place. I can still use it but it melted where you twist to remove head so you can change the tip so I'm stuck using the one I chose.

great kit and its cheap
great kit and its cheap. some have complained that the handle melts or stuff like that. at my shop i left it on on accident for about 20 hours at 300 degrees and the next day i came back and realized it. the iron was fine not one problem just the time was ruined but it comes with some replacemencets so no big deal. i was able to solder new LEDs onto my car radio and the kit and plires work wonders and the solder remover was surprising how effective it was. my only complaint is that the knob to adjust the temp is very loose and tends to rotate on accident while soldering either burning what i was doing or not hot engouh. but keep an eye on it and it works fine.

Decent iron for the money
Good value for occasional use. Kit contains essentials to get started. I don't think it would withstand use on regular basis but good for the hobbiest

Melted and fell apart
SERIOUSLY, BUYER BE WARNED, THE MANUFACTURING QUALITY OF THIS STUFF IS MISERABLE.FIRST ONE MELTEDSECOND ONE THE TIPS JUST FELL OUT. IMAGINE HOW HURT I COULD'VE GOTTEN IF IT WAS HOTI've used it for a week and the plastic melted and fell apart. Cheap chinese plastic.UPDATE: So ill have to give them a 5 star review on customer relations, they contacted me the next day to replace my melted soldering gun, they said, "We'll ship you a new one and refund you." Which they did, so they are awesome on that part..... but, unfortunately this is not a review on customer relations. They sent me a new one very shortly and I go to plug it in, change out the soldering tip, and ALL OF THE SOLDERING TIPS JUST FELL OUT.
