It fit securely on the wall holding the filter system in place for easy filter change. Review: A real life-saver when replacing cartridges in my whole-house filter unit. I ordered this bracket for use with my new WATTS WH-LD unit and it's a perfect fit. I mounted it to my basement wall, drilling into the blocks and installing anchors, and using the included screws this thing works great. It sure does take a lot of weight off of the pipes, and the filter unit is rather heavy when full. It allows you to unscrew the filter housing easily, and with no strain on the pipes at all.
