It’s easy to use and it works!
If you have a smartphone, the setup for this thing is about as difficult as connecting to a Bluetooth speaker. I had mine working in just a few minutes. Our modem/router is upstairs and our bedroom TV is downstairs on the opposite end of the house. Netflix and YouTube would stutter, the quality would drop, or sometimes not play at all. Once this was installed, and I connected our smart TV with the new network (it’s automatically named the same as your network with a “-plus” at the end) all of our streaming services and online games have been working flawlessly. We’ve had it for one month and I haven’t had any issues with it.The instructions said that the signal strength is displayed on the front of this device with one, two, or three blue LED lights. Mine has always had 2 lights, even when I tried plugging it in right next to our router. Even so, the signal strength at my computer is like 97%.PROSGood priceLooks goodEasy set upImproves wifi strength as advertisedNo need for ethernet cordsCONSMine always displays a 2/3 signal strengthBlocks the outlet above it (you can use a 2-pronged cord above it, but not a 3-pronged cord)If any of your devices have poor signal strength when you are pretty far from your wifi router, this device will probably solve your problem!

From 1 Band to 5 Bands in Less Than A Minute
I just set up my new home office in the last possible square inch of space available in my house, which, as it turns out, is nearly out of range of my router. Over the last week, I've had Zoom calls fail, and have struggled to get my work done in a timely manner just because the internet signal wasn't strong enough. My first thought was to call up the internet provider and see if there was a way to pay for more data, or a stronger router, but I really don't want to pay any more than we're currently paying. Then my boyfriend suggested that we rewire the internet in the house to get the router closer to my desk, which would have worked but would have been hours of work, which didn't sound particularly attractive to me, either. After a little research online, I realized that maybe an extender would do the trick. The Loom Wi-Fi Extender had great reviews, so I figured I'd give it a shot, and if it didn't work at least I wouldn't be out of too much money. I was hoping for the best, but honestly not expecting it. My track record with technology isn't that great. To my delight, not only does this thing work WELL, but it was also really simple to set up. From the time I opened the box to getting everything set up it was maybe as much as a minute? The set up process is very easy, and the signal went from one band to full strength. Great product!

It works fine…for simple shit
Look folks I’ve got a 1 story 2k sq ft home and I set this thing up using it’s instructions (like 6 very very simple steps…and I’m electronics stupid)…quick and simple:If you want Netflix, Amazon prime, or etc (light streaming), internet access, or your phone to extend its WiFi…this works great. If you want gaming or loads of data needed…maybe not your bag.Sum up…when I connect to Microsoft Teams in my office, it struggles to keep up with the demand. If I want to play live online gaming (battlefield, COD, GTA) it’s lagging. But if you are looking for a smart TV connection, PS4/5 (not live online gaming but all other functions), simple cell WiFi, and an easy extension….damn this thing works great. Certainly does not reach an extreme range like it boasts. However, it does cover a moderate amount of area. And for the price it does work well. Just place it close enough to your router to get a strong signal. You can just google “WiFi speed test” to find an optimal spot in your house.End of story…this was worth every penny because I did not buy it expecting to have super WiFi when I use it. Just Netflix, cell phone, laptop internet, and story modes/online store/upgrades for my PS4. You get what you pay for and this works great for its price range.

Greatest thing since sliced bread
This is the greatest thing I have ever seen.... I thought I had semi fast internet well faster then dialup...lol....but this last year has been a connectivity nightmare and shown me my internet sucked.....I own and operate a drafting/design office which takes tons of data transferring project drawings back and forth with other members of the design team along with customers all remotely and its been horrible until this little gem came. I gave up online meetings months ago, I had to restrict sending projects till after hours or by shutting all internet down in the house (if you have kids you understand the problems this causes) all just so my office outside could send a file over and then after what seems like a lifetime of downloading I could open the internet back up to the kids and house...then God sent me this amazing piece of formed plastic either to save my last nerve or to save the house from imploding either way God bless this thing.....its Super easy setting up. So easy even a hillbilly like me can do it, but seriously its just pushing a button and you need to read like 3 directions. My office and house is now straight 5 bars maxxed out, faster then my ATT service...my house is now youtubing, Facebooking, Amazon shopping faster then the keyboards can handle....I researched these for weeks and to be honest had a hard time determining what's legit and what's all a sales pitch and took a chance with this one because well it was the cheaper one. I always say cheap isn't always good until now but this formed plastic / pile of wire hunk of awesomeness deserves 10 stars or a holiday named after it , no matter what if you need service outside your house or across the house even this is what you want.
