Review: Just what I was looking for - I bought two of these in extra large, and for a modern version of an old classic these shirts are perfect. They're medium weight, not as heavy as the old school pro versions that make me sweat but maybe a little beefier than a beefy-t. I'm not one to take extra care to avoid shrinkage etc, so after reading other reviews I ignored the recommendations and purchased them one size larger than usual. Then I proceeded to ignore the care instructions by washing them in hot water once, then into a hot dryer. They fit perfect now, and my regular routine is to wash with the colors setting then dry on warm not hot. While the collars could use a little touch-up afterwards, they don't demand ironing. This method might not work for everyone, but it worked very well for me.

I bought two shirts and Amazon suggested getting extra large where I normally would do large. They seem a little too big for me but they have shrunk in the wash so they fit better but might have preferred large. I will keep these as they do work.
