This was for my wife’s 68th birthday. She picked it out but I was hesitant due to the size but bought it anyway. It’s unfortunate that Montaigne never gives the face size for their watches....that’s important to me. She’s petite but loves the size. It’s has a good look and she loves how easy it reads. I suspected that the stitching on the band was green even thought the description was tan stitching. It’s green.Revision--after just one week, the second hand started advancing in 5 second intervals. Turns out that a sign of needing a battery replacement. I suspect this watch was a return which would explain why the watch was running when I opened the box. Also, the painted in etching on the back was a bit degraded. Saltzman's Watch came up in Google so I have sent this to them. Also should point out that a thin black second hand is not the best against a black face as it is hard to see. A green hand to match the band and stitching would have been a better choice.

Nice watch. The seller did not check for battery I had to replace it as soon it arrived, the watch was stopped. Besides a faulty battery everything else was as promised.

It arrived with a dead battery.Also the date adjustment is microscopic and it needs to be reset each month.More style than function.
