I think that the grit size would have a very significant bearing on whether or not a polishing-paste could be used on model plastic (I'm assuming you mean model plastic as in, common commercially-available models). Without knowing which grit you're looking at, I don't know that your question can really be answered. I used on my wicked edge system leather strops and just look at the result ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked like a charm! *by C***S on 11 January 2021* I was thankful for the reviews regarding this and I still had my doubts. I had nothing to worry about. This worked like a charm. Polished up my sapphire on my Tag Heuer of over 19yrs. Used a Dremel with a very soft pad, applied some of this on the surface of the crystal, turned on the Dremel on the lowest setting (which is pretty damn quick as it is..) and gently worked it into the crystal. I had nothing to fear because after barely 3-5 min's, it cleaned up the crystal super fine!! Can't tell you how relieved and pleased I was with the results. My time piece is practically brand new!
