## Questions & Answers

**Q: does it come with ink?**
A: I would not recommend this printer - it was a nightmare and the cost of the ink is ridiculous. Buy a Brother, it will save you a fortune.

**Q: Are the printheads good? Is the ink good? Are all original parts, matertials, cables, included?**
A: The printhead warranty will likely be expired by the time you receive your printer. The machine will often, of its own accord, clean the printheads. Despite this, my print heads have both clogged up. There are two, and they run $65 dollars apiece. If you are the type to buy cartridges from HP replacing a full set is $100. I've sunk so much money into this printer. I hate this printer. I wouldn't take it if it was free. The time and money to replace cartridges and print heads are not worth it.

**Q: How to clean printhead?**
A: The printheads clean themselves automatically.  You do not have to do anything.   The print heads are separate from the ink cartridges on the 8500.

**Q: does this have a sd card reader**
A: The Pro 8500A has a SD card reader. Be careful to check specs.
