I tested on a 3440 x 1440 monitor with max 100hz refresh. No matter which device and port I tried, including HDMI/DP for monitor, TB3, TB4, USB Type C with DP on Dell XPS and Macbook air with M1 for input, the maximum refreshing rate is 60HZ. So unless the latest firmware is above 1.2.7, it should be impossible to support 3440x1440@120Hz. **Q: Can this be used with a steam deck to serve as power supply and hdmi connector?** A: It supports HDMI 2.0b. For power question you should go to the Caldigit web site and link to this device and under specs it should state if ny of the ports support power supply. **Q: is output not at 4k 60hz? or doesn't even work if used with 13" macbook air 2019 (intel)?** A: Yes Full 4K 60Hz Monitor Support. I have not tried with intel Mac but works on my M1 Mac air and an intel windows laptop no problems. **Q: Can i plug a usb mic to this ?** A: I don’t see why not. Unless it requires to be connected directly to the computer and not through a hub. ## Frequently Bought Together - CalDigit USB-C 10Gb/s SOHO Dock - Up to 4K 60Hz, HDMI 2.0b, DisplayPort 1.4, 10Gb/s USB A & USB C, UHS-II microSD and SD Card Readers, Bus Power and Passthrough Charging, Steam Deck Compatible - CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 Cable - 40Gbps 100W Power Delivery, Compatible with Thunderbolt 3 & USB Type C, MacBook Pro, iMac, iPhone 15 Max, Black (2 Meter 6.56 Feet, Active Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 Cable) - CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 Element Hub - 4X USB4 Ports, USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gb/s, Single 8K or Dual 4K Displays, 60W Charging, 0.8m Cable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ec/products/295393619-caldigit-usb-c-gen2-10gb-s-soho-dock-up-to](https://www.desertcart.ec/products/295393619-caldigit-usb-c-gen2-10gb-s-soho-dock-up-to) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ecuador* *Store origin: EC* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
