Review: OK quality for the price. Lacks useful information. - This cartridge came in a plastic bubble pack with few spec's so using it is a bit "try and see". With my arm and turntable it seems to need a tracking weight of at least 3 grams to reduce the distortion. There's no indication whether it has a sapphire or diamond stylus, but at the low price I'd guess sapphire, and although it says elliptical on the back it might be a spherical or elliptical stylus depending where you attempt to find some information. I think it is intended as a DJ cartridge, so it's probably robustly designed to withstand 'scratching' back and forth.

**Q: What weight setting is specified for this cartridge? got manual?**
A: According to the product information for the bare stylus on another store, the stylus is meant for 1.5-3.0g. Note that you WILL have to adjust the tracking weight, since this headshell is a bit heavier than some of the stock shells. In my case, the tracking weight ends up at 2.85g before adjustment. (My stock stylus tracks at 2.0g). So this headshell is 0.85g heavier than the Audio Technica shell that came with my table.

I'm fine with that... it just means I have to dial the counterweight back to 1.15 when I mount this shell.

**Q: Will this work with a gemini d.j.q 1100 turntable for home listening?**
A: Yes, it will work. However, if your original turntable does not have a pre-amp, you have to connect one before the main amp.

**Q: Will this fit a sony ps-lx250h?**
A: No.However,the included stylus (at3600) will work with Sony ps-lx250h.

**Q: Will this work with sony ps-242 turntable**
A: That’s the turn table I have and it worked

Using on a Technics SL-D202 where I messed up the original needle. Decided to buy a whole new basic cartridge. Guess what? You won't notice a sound difference from higher priced cartridge/needle combos unless you have an audio system that brings out the nuances in the sound. Playing regular classic vinyl and don't want to be gouged by price explosion from this current trends of everyone buying vinyl? Then just get this cartridge and need.e
