I have not used the Optimum Softsheen Carson shampoo & conditioner. Sorry, but I can't give you an adequate comparison.

Q: The product description says infused with amla oil, however, the ingredients do not show amla oil. does it include amla oil?

Yes. Phyllanthus Emblica is actually another name for amla oil. If you look at the list of ingredients, you will see it there. Hope this info helps.
