they simply slide and lock together, stacking 8 will not be very stable though, and you may hay have a heat build up problem.

Q: My giant corsair 1000d case has no cdrom. can i use this rack and install inside my pc right above psu to house (2) 5.25 cdrom drives?

No this is for 3.5" hard drives which are quite a bit smaller than 5.25" CD Rom drives.

Q: Will this fit the P600S?
