It really ventilates!Good metal, excellent paint.Started ventilating rite from the box!Just didn't have time to install.Wonderful.Forgot where I wanted it to be installed.Will buy next time in July, when hot and ventilation is extreme necessity.

They do the job.
I bought two (2) of these and installed them in the UPPER panel of my garage door. After years of a hot garage in the Florida summertime, I wanted to see if this would vent out some of the hot air. I located one each toward the opposite ends of the STEEL panel after installing insect screen between the vent and the door. I had to grind off the inside of the vent for a flat fit against the door. For winter, I also bought flat magnetic sheets and trimmed them to fit around the interior bolt and nuts. That too, works great, but ONLY on a STEEL door. others are not magnetic. I considered adding 2 lower vents too, but these work quite well. I suspect the temperature is now 10 to 20 degrees cooler than in years past.

Easily modified to fit tight toe kick space
After a lot of searching, I finally found a vent cover that would fit our toe kick a/c vent. (The old vent cover had mistakenly been thrown away.) This cover was a bit longer than I needed, but the ribs that insert into the vent were easy to shorten with some aviation snips and I was able to drill mounting holes into each end. Thrilled to have this checked off the to do list!

It does what it's supposed to do. Not easy to install as it sits inside of a vertical vent.
