I needed locks for my carry on luggage, because, on rare occasions, I run into times when the flight attendant will decide my duffel won't fit the overhead, and it's pointless to argue with them if I want to be on the flight. Then, things go missing. I chose these locks, because I like the tamper indicator on it. I also like the easy to read numbers, and that there is a separate window to view the combination code I set. The last time I bought a baggage combination lock was 30 years ago from a well known luggage company, and it was frustratingly hard to read the tiny black numbers on a metal background, even with my 20/20 eyesight, it did not have a separate window but a small dot to indicate where the numbers needed to be aligned, and it was not a cable lock. I ended up cutting it since I couldn't open the lock. Since I couldn't get a lock and key lock that is TSA approved, I reluctantly looked around for a combination lock that will give me some peace of mind, and that I wouldn't get frustrated trying to use or feel like I just threw away money. I am very happy with this lock. I have an desertcart Prime membership, so I liked the ability to return the locks if they didn't work out for me. I got the green color, because I wanted to give my luggage an additional distinct personality so I can identify it easily. While I was waiting for the locks to arrive, the lock company sent me an email thanking me for deciding to buy the locks, gave me useful information about how to contact them if I have any issues with their product, and reminded me that there is a guarantee that should the locks be damaged by baggage handlers or TSA, that they will replace it with a working lock. Besides that, if I can't follow the easy, written instructions, which I had no trouble following, there is an online "how to" video available. I have a trip coming up in 2 days, and I fly frequently domestically and internationally for nearly all my life for decades. If I have any issues with the locks while traveling, I'll followup and add on this review. Whoever designed these locks and tested them knew what they were doing, and I really appreciate that. My luggage was carefully designed to accept most lock cables with lock holes in the zippers and D rings to provide security, so the cable fits nicely through them. The lock's body is metal. I like the sale price too. For my one carry on, I required 3 locks, but I just ordered a 4 pack to have an extra handy in a pinch, and if I love them so much, I can give a couple locks as a present to other frequent flying friends or family. Just to note, I know I could cut through these cables with a hefty wirecutter, but then, a person could axe my luggage. With the locks, it would take more time to tamper with luggage than without locks:) I don't expect 100 percent peace of mind, but, at least, locks on my luggage will help to keep it from being an easy target. Review: عملي وخفيف الوزن - ينفع للاستخدام الخفيف ## Features - PEACE OF MIND WITH AN INSPECTION INDICATOR. Know if your luggage has been inspected as soon as you pick it up at the airport with our pop-up inspection indicator. If the TSA has opened your luggage, a button will pop out of the top of the cable lock. You'll know to double check your luggage to make sure nothing has gone missing while you're still at the airport instead of at your hotel or final destination. - FOOLPROOF COMBINATION SETTING MECHANISM. Easily set your own combination with a simple flick of a switch. With the factory default combination of 000 entered, use a pen to flick the switch to the right. Enter your new combination and flick the switch back to the left. Setting your combination is that easy. - A SECURE LOCK WHICH WORKS WITH NEARLY ANY KIND OF LUGGAGE. Cable locks can secure luggage which steel shackle locks can not. Pelican cases, gun cases, equipment cases, etc. can all be locked easily and safely with our flexible cable. At an ideal lenght of 4 inches from end to end and a closed lenght of 1.5 inches, SureLock's cable is the ideal size for your travel security needs. - EASY TO READ DIALS. SureLock uses a white numeral on a black background for our combination dials. These high contrast dials make reading your combination a breeze. No more squinting or searching for glasses as you try to open your locks. - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B073NYB7R2 | | Best Sellers Rank | 66,662 in Fashion ( See Top 100 in Fashion ) 128 in Luggage Locks | | Brand | SURE LOCK | | Colour | Black 2 Pack | | Control Method | Push Button | | Controller Type | Push Button | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 13,533 Reviews | | Finish | Coated | | Included Components | Comes as a Combo Set | | Item Dimensions | 8.1 x 3 x 1.5 centimetres | | Item Type Name | luggage lock | | Item Weight | 70 Grams | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 8.1 x 3 x 1.5 centimetres | | Lock Type | Combination Lock | | Lock type | Combination Lock | | Manufacturer | SL | | Material | Stainless Steel Alloy | | Model Name | TSA21105P | | Model Number | TSA21105V | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 2 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Part Number | 43235-25066 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Travel, Lockers, Camping, Tents, Briefcases, other Cases | | Recommended uses for product | Travel, Lockers, Camping, Tents, Briefcases, other Cases | | Shape | Rectangular | | Special Features | TSA Approved | | Special feature | TSA Approved | | Style | earnest | | UPC | 646648185114 | | Unit Count | 2.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SURE LOCK - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 8.1 x 3 x 1.5 centimetres - **Lock type:** Combination Lock - **Material:** Stainless Steel Alloy - **Special feature:** TSA Approved ## Images ![TSA Compatible Travel Luggage Locks, Inspection Indicator, Easy Read Dials - 2 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61sbD1RQLwL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Item Package Quantity** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Do you guys replace locks that have been cut by the tsa agents? we lost 2 locks (tsa agent cut the locks)this past weekend traveling to baltimore.** A: Hi Tony,Thanks for your e-mail. The only way to reset the red indicator is to cycle the lock open and closed with the combination. Have a great day -Taylor **Q: Are these approved for international travel?** A: Hi, thanks for your question. These locks are TSA approved so they will work at any airport which has TSA master keys. This included most Western European countries and the U.K. **Q: Does TSA need to relock these to remove their key so that they cannot be left unlocked if luggage is inspected?** A: Yes, yea can not remove the key until they have relocked the lock. And the indicator on the lock will pop up letting you know Tara opened the lock. The button will reset to the down position once’s you open the lock with your passcode and relock the lock again ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Practical, easy to read and set, user friendly locks *by S***A on 13 August 2017* This is a lock that is well made, sturdy and designed by people who obviously travel.
