Let me explain. . . Same refill numbers on original and new refill BRFV 10F Acroball PureWhite. Yet, new ones are way way too long. Even snipping to correct size would cut into ink making a mess. Yet I am still happy. Because I also need refills for my Pilot Hi-Tech-Cs that are watercolor proof. Hi-Tec-C ink is water soluble. So, I added a small spring, no cutting, now they fit perfectly my Hi-Tec-Cs. I'll wait until the ink goes down, then cut these refills to fit my Acroball PureWhite and Zebra F 701 ball points. Solves several problems for me. Too long is better than too short length. **Q: Are they fine point** A: Yes. These refills are for the .7mm pilot acroball which is fine point. That being said, they're refillable pens. This particular ink is EXACTLY like what comes in the pen and the refills last forever! I personally prefer the .7 pont in black. No ink smudge or bleed through. They're perfect for the pen and so much cheaper and environmentally conscious than just going out and wasting good money and extra garbage on new pens.
