Review: I didn’t expect it to be as big as it is.. but for the price not complaining. I cut about 3 inches off the length of it. And it fit just fine and you can’t tell if it has been cut. Sure it will work fine for many other options. I used it in a 1988 Suzuki Samurai. I’m happy with it. And for the price I didn’t have a problem modifying it to fulfill my needs.

I didn’t expect it to be as big as it is.. but for the price not complaining. I cut about 3 inches off the length of it. And it fit just fine and you can’t tell if it has been cut. I used this to mount a car stereo in one of the basement storage areas on my motorhome. Combined with a couple of weather-proof Yamaha speaker boxes, this created a neat outside entertainment center that works great. Now I just flip open the door on the motorhome's basement storage area, and there is a nice stereo, well protected in this box. This stereo mounting box is made of heavy plastic, and is sturdy and well-constructed. It has some removable tabs to accommodate old style car radios which have a volume knob on the left and tuning knob on the right (who has one of those anymore?), but those tabs are easily removable (I used a loose hacksaw blade to remove them). A nice product at a reasonable price.
