**Q: Can i use it so my hyperx gaming headphones can now both use the mic and play audio out of the headphones at once on my pc?**
A: Very likely.  My sons headphones have a jack that carries mic and audio in a single jack, but the PC has separate audio out and mic in jacks.  This splitter was the solution.  If that's your situation then this is what is needed.

**Q: Will it work if you plug them into two computers? will audio come from both pcs? they're not old or anything, i just need the audio from both.**
A: No. This adapter splits microphone audio in and headphone audio out signals to separate 3.5mm jacks. It cannot be used to combine audio outputs from two sources.

**Q: Does it work only with apple headphones?**
A: No it doesn't work with apple earphones.

**Q: Is there a way to fix the static noise ?**
A: The only way to "fix" it is by lowering the mic volume in the settings for your mic. So no, there isnt a way.

At first, I thought this splitter was not working. People could barely hear me on Discord and when they did, they'd tell me they were hearing my gameplay. Eventually, I realized that the connection was loose and it needed a lot more pressure to connect my headset to the splitter. It's definitely not meant to be removed frequently given how much I had to push the headsets cable into it. Regardless, it now works incredibly well!
