Though, I'd still prefer to have the original, this one makes up for my lack of owning the original. I love the colors and the face. And that rifle...very nice. Since I'm a collector and will not open this up anytime soon, I cannot comment on the transformation of this toy. But it does display very well and looks great. Review: A faithful production. - Kup has been one of my favorite characters since his introduction in, what I consider, the ONLY 'Transformers' movie. Despite the figure being primarily plastic, to me it's one of the most faithful productions of a Transformers character. Transformation is easy and his vehicle form is pays tribute to the futuristic truck I still wish I could purchase. I also feel the head sculpt really captures the idea of the grizzled veteran who has seen far too much over his life cycle. And the idea of the "laser musket" harkens back to an older idea of warfare where precision and the idea of the rifleman once held sway, as opposed to the mantra of giving a soldier an automatic rifle that can spew thirty rounds as soon as the trigger is pulled.
