I have a couple of mini- balloon whisks that I use with small bowls for mixing up small stuff like salad dressings and sauces, etc. They work just ok. These whisks are GREAT for mixing stuff up in small bowls because you can get it done quickly and not slosh stuff out of the bowl. They really shine mixing thickeners into things because they incorporate ingredients quickly. They are also really great for using in flat bottomed pans for sauces and gravies because you can really scrape the bottom of the pan and get in the corners, so everything gets mixed well. If I didn't already have a ton of other whisks in my collection, I would think about getting two more.
