I think the delay can be a fixed time or random start for more realistic reaction shooting. **Q: Does the par timer have different tones for start and stop ?** A: Yes. Short tone for start longer for stop. **Q: Is this sensitive enough to work dry-firing?** A: Not really. There are competition conditions which make picking up the shots from .22 rifle rounds difficult.
