**Q: Does this charger work (and reset the Charge Level) with the Intelligent Batteries?**
A: My CG-800 quit working after 8 months. But yes, It did show a full charge after charging, while the charger worked.

**Q: Can it charge bp-808d and bp-820/bp-828 battery pack?**
A: yes

**Q: Will the cg-800 also charge non canon brands of bp 820/828 battery?**
A: I use the CG-800 to charge only BP-808 batteries.  However, I have another Canon charger for a different camera which is able to charge an Energizer battery that I use as a backup for the Canon one.  I hope this helps.

**Q: Is the charger CG-800 made in Japan?**
A: Nope.  Canon's charger is made in China.
