Review: Fits the old school face shield - The screen mesh and the clear shield do fit the “Jackson” style head gear thats been around for a long time. The screen mesh one is thicker and takes some effort to get it installed. Start at one end and use small amount to detergent to help it slip in. Then work your way to the other end and pull to get it over the locking tab. At that point add detergent for lubrication and close the tab. I used needle nose pliers. Could probably heat the shield with a hair drier to make it stretch easier. Really like the product and happy to use the screen for weed eating and general protection without getting hot or fogged up. Will still use the clear polyethylene for strong chemicals etc.

I have a couple different styles of face shields and in all cases over time they begin to rust and deteriorate. This shield fit the Oregon Helmet and the other visor shields I had previously purchased. The difference in a new shield and a well used one is substantial. Improve your view, replace the shield.
