## Description

The Lowrance Elite FS 9 is an expandable fish finder and chartplotter that brings sonar, fishing maps and connected boat control together on one touchscreen. The included Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer provides CHIRP sonar, SideScan and DownScan Imaging with FishReveal, making it easier to search for structure and recognize fish around cover. The high-resolution 9-inch multi-touchscreen offers clear chart, sonar and split-screen views. Preloaded C-MAP OnBoard charts help anglers locate ledges, drop-offs, ditches and other useful fishing areas. Integrated wireless, NMEA 2000 and Ethernet connectivity support compatible equipment and data sharing between displays. Elite FS is also ready for optional ActiveTarget 2 and ActiveTarget 2 XL live sonar. Active Imaging HD requires an S3100 module and compatible transducer.

Review: Excellent unit lightyears better than. My humminbird - This Lowrance elite fs 9in has been the reason for my last 6 trips on lake stevens pulling limits of kokanne. If the sonar shows a school off to a side I deutsch to side scan and find the side where the fish are and mark them. I then swing around in my 120 pdl kayak and pull fish from that school. I get better using this elite fs every week when I hit the water. I was gkingbto buy the HDS but for a kayak the elite is amazing. A 20ah lithium battery on desertcart is $60 and more than you need fir a day fishing and only weights 6 lbs. Everything has come along way so I woukd say get the elite sf and start feeling like your cheating because you can actually find and stay on the fish much easier. If your fishing from a kayak yak hobby has the best mount for the transducer, it's very over built and easy to fit to your kayak especially if it's an oldtown 120 pdl.

**Q: What transducer goes with the fish elite 9 that records depth at high speed?**
A: Thank you for your question! In order to get high speed sonar readings, you will need the Elite FS 9 (or 7) No Transducer model, then an ActiveImaging 2-in-1 Transducer for Side and Downscan, plus an 83/200 kHz Skimmer Transducer. The high speed sonar will come from the Skimmer Transducer, and be your traditional CHIRP sonar.

**Q: Is the elite FS 9 compatible with Lowrance outboard auto pilot**
A: think so but not 100% sure

**Q: What are the unit dimensions in inches on the fs7 and fs9. looking to put on hobie pa not sure witch one i should get.**

This Lowrance elite fs 9in has been the reason for my last 6 trips on lake stevens pulling limits of kokanne. If the sonar shows a school off to a side I deutsch to side scan and find the side where the fish are and mark them. I then swing around in my 120 pdl kayak and pull fish from that school. I get better using this elite fs every week when I hit the water. I was gkingbto buy the HDS but for a kayak the elite is amazing. A 20ah lithium battery on Amazon is $60 and more than you need fir a day fishing and only weights 6 lbs. Everything has come along way so I woukd say get the elite sf and start feeling like your cheating because you can actually find and stay on the fish much easier.
