A: 6" if you want to install two side by side as I have done. Otherwise, 8" is fine.

**Q: Instead of screwing in, can these be attached with heavy duty double side tape?**
A: I rent so I have all of mine taped down with EZlifego Double Sided Heavy Duty Tape: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07YB1ZXG6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. They are NOT going anywhere.

**Q: My cabinet width is 9 inches.  Can I fit two 4" wide racks here?**
A: Our Spice Rack Organizer measures 4.5" wide, and requires at least a 4.9" cabinet opening so two of these will not fit in a 9" cabinet.

**Q: What is the minimum cabinet depth required for this product?**
