Review: Great product - I add this to broths and soups. We have not got sick since we've been using this. It adds a unique flavor that we enjoy. It's a little bitter so we squeeze some lemon or lime and it balances out. Review: Clean, high-quality bulk root—the perfect immune-boosting addition to homemade syrup! - I regularly buy this 1-pound bulk bag of Starwest Botanicals Organic Astragalus Root as a staple ingredient for my homemade elderberry syrup, and the quality is outstanding. Quality & Prep: The cut and sifted form is fantastic to work with. The root pieces are clean, uniform, and hold up beautifully to the long simmering process required to extract all the beneficial properties. It infuses perfectly alongside the elderberries, ginger, and spices, lending a very mild, pleasant earthiness to the liquid before it gets strained out and sweetened. Value: Purchasing this in a 1-pound bulk size is an excellent value and far more economical than trying to source smaller quantities. If you regularly brew your own wellness syrups or custom herbal teas, this bag is a top-tier, cost-effective choice that will easily last you through many batches ## Features - PURE ASTRAGALUS ROOT: This bag contains Astragalus membranaceus, the botanical name for astragalus root.
