It is a very warm sounding parlor sized guitar, inexpensive but well made, easy playing and pleasing tone. Eventually the high E broke and it was time for new strings. I am not a fan of D'Adarrio, so I decided to give the Martin Eric Clapton strings a try. I was honestly surprised at the tonal difference/improvement. A musician relative of mine had done several informal acoustic jams with me but when he first heard it with the Martin EC's he assumed it was a new guitar and I received many compliments on its rich new voice. I truly seems that different guitars may have certain strings that just fit better. When the time comes I will try a set on my Epiphone Masterbilt Deluxe archtop. Highly recommended.
