This is the second book by this photographer that I have purchased here in desertcart, the first one was AFTER DARK (that one was more or less ok). So what about it..When I leafed through this book, I was constantly haunted by the feeling that there was one or two maximum photographs in this book. This feeling arises as a result of the extreme monotony of the photo content. All the pictures are terribly similar to each other, in addition to everything they are repeated (the are puddles with neon lights several times). Having reached the middle, I put the book aside, because I realized that there was no any point in looking at it further. The desire of the author to oversaturate and distort the nature of colors also caused disgust. Everything is so poisonously bright that it ultimately causes nausea. The book is simply poisonous. Both literally and figuratively. The inks used in printing are extremely toxic and cause headaches. Don't waste your money on this book. I recommend spending money on a book by a more recognized author like Saul Leiter, Ernst Haas, etc Carefully study the contents of books before buying them, avoid mistakes. Good luck!
