Review: Very Good Boom Pole for most applications - Received the product and was pleasantly surprised at the workmanship. It has pads on the handle for easy gripping plus these pads minimise handling noise. It was mainly silver with white locks to extend each pole segment. The length is just right for indoor shoots and even for outdoor shoots which do not require longer length. With other boom poles you will need to wrap the cable around the pole to prevent it from dangling. This means u will end up having a shorter cable length to play with. This pole however eliminates this problem by having a groove in the middle supported by provided Velcro straps and a small plastic hook at the base. The pole itself is made of sturdy metal that feels solid and I doubt if it will get deformed with normal handling. Despite the sturdiness, it feels very light and will be easy to bring along in offsite shoots. The top of the pole has a standard mic screw where u can attach ur desired mic holder. In short, this is a pretty good boom pole and I highly recommend it
Review: It rattles. - Not good for sound, it sucks, it rattles with the minute of movements. Gonna have to tear it down somehow and add spacers. Doesn’t come with the right adapter for most microphone mounts. Mandatory step down bolt is required. Not a big deal but still.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it include a way to attach my mic, or do i have to get that sesperate?**
A: They include a way to attach your mic, however, depending on what you intend to use the mic for, it may not work well. The shotgun pole comes with a mount that attaches straight to the mic. Personally, I purchased a shock mount. This will allow me to shoot without noise from the pole. If you are keeping the mic stable then the mount that comes with it should be fine. Also purchase an XLR extended cord or wireless mic since the pole gets decently long.

**Q: What kind of microphone can I use with this item?**
A: Depends on the mount you put on the end. Standard rubber band shock mounts usually work fine for shotgun mics, cardioid/super/hyper. Usually any pencil mic would work fine on a boom pole.

**Q: does it come with the mic?**
A: No

**Q: Does it come with a monopod?  And does it come with a wire to attach it to the camera?**
A: There is no Monopod. This is just the boompole for the microphone with an extending arm mount. 
There is not wire to attach it to the camera.
