This seat replaced the original seat on my main toilet. The original seat kept loosening on one side. The original seat was plastic, with plastic bolts. This seat is great. Very comfortable and does not slip. The bolts on this seat are metal and hold well. If you need a replacement seat, this is the one to buy.

Very Happy With This Seat!
I bought this because the other one I had broke when I stood on it. This one looks so good in the bathroom as it matches the wood on the vanity. It was easy to put on. I did it myself and don't normally do that kind of thing. It is also well made so no worries! Glad the old one broke as this one looks much better!I

Comfortable to sit on, my wife loves it.
Seems like a very sturdy toilet seat, it feels great on my cheeks and looks amazing. We just moved into our new house and it’s currently the nicest looking thing in my bathroom and really makes it look a little nicer in there. Highly recommend.

Finish is rough, not smooth as photo show, and glossy.
Just to be aware- - Product is well built and sturdy, but since it is a manufactured compressed wood particle product the finish is rough, not smooth as appears in photographs. It is also very glossy not a mat finish.
