A: The splitter will separate PoE into Ethernet and data output via RJ45 port and DC port.

**Q: Does this supply power when connected to a (separately powered) ubiquiti flex poe switch?**
A: This splitter comply with IEEE802.3af/at standard, if you poe switch is standard 48v IEEE802.3af/at switch, then our splitter can receive the poe power and supply power for terminal.

**Q: Would this work to power a fire HD tablet?**
A: This splitter output is 5V/2.4A, if this output is enough for fire HD tablet, then it can power it. We suggest you check the power specification first.

**Q: Does this work when connected to a ubiquiti flew poe switch?**
A: Yep its good I have a few of them now! Not an Ubiquiti, but the PoE is standard I have mine on Cisco… both look to be IEE 802.3af compliant. :)
