It has egg and vegetables you can see...I like the container because I just open it and set it in the cage...when they are done eating I throw the container out. No can for worry about. It is the easiest way I have found to feed them without a giant mess and I feel like they are getting more than just dog food. I think as far as dogs go, depending on your breed, the amount in a container may be too little for most dogs. The amount seems more like what you would give a puppy or a cat.
