I purchased a DID from voip.ms, and used that as my new home number. Then I created a sub account and did some forwarding. I changed my google voice not to pass though the caller ID and enabled screening. I made a forwarding rule that when google voice calls my DID, it will ring on my sub account and I setup a separate VM box and when I use the sub account, the caller ID shows my GV line. This works great for me. **Q: will this work with voip from spectrum?** A: As long as they provide you SIP credentials you can program the phone to use with it. It has a plethora of features and I've been recently working on a program for my own system to send calls to it from my PC because it even has that feature. SIP phones offer so much that makes it incredible even for home use, in fact, we're now in the process of moving to SIP phones across our house. The other day I received two calls at about the same time, and because this phone has two lines it was possible to put one person on hold whilst I dealt with another client.
