Exactly the same as my last one
I left my left last claw at my last house as It had been through 15 years of use and figured I’d buy a new one. I had no idea at the time that they’d be hard to find. Was very happy to find it available and can say this one is built and works as well as my original.

This Garden Claw is very easy to use.
I used it to turn over garden beds. I got talking with a friend who owned one and volunteered it. I loved it, found it on Amazon and bought one. It's sturdy, very easy to use and yet a good source of exercise for my arms. My only complaint is my husband buried it behind a ton of boxes when we had to empty our kitchen for a redo; ergo, no picture. I'll have to dig it out for fall cleaning of beds. (Garden beds)

A Miracle In Your Hand!
I do Roses and many other Garden & Planter-Bed plants & shrubs. This Mini-Claw Cultivator is PERFECT around most plants as the three cultivator prongs only extend down about 3", so you simply plunge it into the earth, give it a gentle twist to the Left & Right and it loosens the soil at that spot without damaging the delicate plant roots - you need only twist the tool an inch or so in each direction to be effective and not damage any roots. I too had one previously and lost it ( HINT: Attach it to a bracket on the wall as it's east to mis-place ). I ordered a 'replacement' from Amazon and I'm happily, back in business!!

Nothing better
I previously owned a claw, both the short and tall. It got misplaced during my move and I've been without one since. When I saw that they sold it on this site...yup...I got me another one. Best money spent.

This is THE ONE.
This product was difficult to find but well worth the effort. The handles are what separate it from others. It was shipped from Germany of all places but it arrived quickly. I love it!

A great addition to my gardening kit
I don't know why it took me so long to order one of these. I first saw one in a garden centre many years ago and always thought that I'd get one. I ordered it yesterday and it arrived today so today was the day! I've literally had it for two hours and I already think that that it's an amazing piece of kit. I've been all over my borders and it has broken up the soil with ease leaving it looking lovely and freshly turned. It is SO much more effective than using a hoe and SO much easier than a spade. With regular use my borders are going to look fantastic and it's going to take so little effort. When it arrived I thought that I would be using it like a spade by putting my foot on it so that the prongs went all of the way in and then twisting. This approach would take an awful lot of effort - especially in clay heavy soil. Instead I've found myself pushing the prongs into the soil around three inches deep, twisting and covering a large area in such a short amount of time. It's all very easy and I would highly recommend that you purchase one. This is stating the obvious but the better the soil the easier using this tool will be. There's an area of my border which has clay and the tool is more difficult to use. On my crumbly soil it's amazingly easy.My only small gripe is that the handle grips could benefit from being upgraded as they're not very substantial.

DO NOT BUY! Broke after only a few uses
This cultivator was a disappointment from the beginning. It would only loosen a very, very small amount of soil at a time, barely more than scraping with a spade. The instructions recommend working the prongs into the ground, but that only caused them to become bent on the first turn. On my fourth attempt at using it, the claws snapped off the pole.Very disappointed, I feel cheated. No wonder they have such a short return window. It's a total scam.

My wife loves it
I already had a hand version but obviously that needs one to be kneeling down and requires a strong wrist action to rotate the claw in the soil. This one allows the gardener to be standing and the arms of the device provide much more leverage. I mainly undertake the larger gardening jobs whereas my wife (AKA the "Head Gardener") prefers to deal with weeding etc. and she finds this tool ideal. Often the weeds extracted remain trapped in the claw and she doesn't even have to bend down to gab them and shoot them into the collection basket. I'm getting loads of praise for the purchase, and who doesn't want a happy wife?

Not as good as its big brother
I've owned a full sized garden claw for many years now and it's one of the most useful garden tools I have. I therefore decided to buy this mini claw for those more densely packed garden beds where the full size claw is too bulky. However, because it has no shaft, the turning force required to achieve the same result is much greater. Added to that, the full size claw is a 2-handed operation whereas the mini only has one hand grip.In short, with this mini claw you need to have a very strong wrist action in all but the very lightest of soils - in which case you don't need a cultivator, a normal hand fork will do.
