Review: This DOES fit my 2014 BMW 535d, although desertcart check says it does not! - I always use the Mahle OX 404D oil filter when changing my 2014 BMW 535d engine oil. City’s perfectly, an OEM replacement for the BMW filter. As noted, it is correct for the N57 Diesel Engine in my 2014 BMW 535d. Nut said, Highly Recommended
Review: Fits well and seems to work - I use this filter in my two BMW diesel: a 2 liter X3 and 3 liter 5 series. I hire my local mechanic to change the oil (every 5000 miles), in both cars and I supply the oil and filter for the task. If you are not familiar with diesels, you should know the engine oil get black after 5 miles of driving. Therefore, it is difficult to know if a filter is working. Presumably, the filter traps larger soot particles, but who knows. I like the fact that the filter comes with crush washer and housing o-ring. Also, they are cheaper than what BMW sells at its dealers. I always have one in the garage for the next oil change and buy Pennzoil Euro L oil from Walmart. An oil change with parts and labor is well under $60, so I change oil at 5,000-mile increments rather than 10,000 miles as prescribed by BMW.
