Seeing the many 5 star reviews (MOST of which were reviews coming from people who received the product for free in exchange for "honest and unbiased" reviews) i was skeptic and worried. But i was willing to shell out money for a high quality clip on wide angle lens so i had to give it a try.Received the product very fast and am not dissapointed. It looks and feels to be of high quality. Wide angle lens can be dettached if you only wanna use macro lens. Can be used for both front and back camera. I am using a tech21 case which isnt too bulky so Im able to clip the camera on without having to remove the case (which i believe some people have to do with thick otterbox cases) it is also heavy so should be handled with care. Came with a pouch too.For the quality, i have no complaints with the price. Great product overall.The only con i can think of however, is the fact that the wide angle lens and fish eye lens arent sold together. it would be better If they were sold together because its tedious having to carry both heavy sets of clip-on lenses on trips, with the same macro lens. Its like having an extra macro lens you dont need. hopefully they just sell the fish eye lens and nothing more. I would only want that in the future

After buying three different wide angle lenses and carefully analyzing I am happy to have found this MPOW brand that is far better quality than previous lenses in my life.PROS:1) It clips on without fussing, like a very large paper clip. About 1 to 2 seconds to clip on and position exactly over the phone's native lens.2) Quality construction and nicely engineered to protect the phone3) Professional level dual-clip lens cap4) Best of all, the photos. I needed wide angle for interior building shots. Most other brands are sloppy fish-eye lenses that are useless but for children's toys or novelty photos. They are not professional level. The MPOW is a professional level tool5) Great price for such qualityCONS:A) While image center area is quite good, the image quality suffers slightly at the radial extremes, but this should be expected for such a wide angle lens and the user can compensate for it by using a photo app like Snapseed.Given the above, I was not able to find another wide angle lens maker who came even close to the MPOW, not for quality, not for build detail, not for overall engineering, not for design, and not for price. These benefits make it a fabulous lens, at least for me.

Wideangle: I love ALMOST everything about it, EXCEPT the black edges that show up on every picture. I've removed my phone cover to allow the clip to put the lens as close to the camera viewfinder, but still, black edges/corners. Even if my phone screen doesn't show as much of the black edge, when I go back to the photo taken, there it is. Quite distracting in a bad way. Yes, I could crop it, but that defeats the purpose of the wide angle lens.I'm still debating whether or not to keep it. Don't quite think it's worth 30 bucks, but it is built quite well, better than expected for something that is a fun addition to the phone. The glass seems pretty good. Like other reviewers stated, it is not convenient for quick installation and use. Takes a little adjusting each and every time you clip it onto your phone to make sure the black edges are minimal and to position it right over the viewfinder.UPDATE: I decided to add one star since the company was very responsive to my complaint. They seem like a very customer service oriented company and I appreciate the attention they give to matters seemingly small. There are very few companies out there providing outstanding service and this is definitely one of them. Thank you so much.

I was sent one of these wide angle lenses for reviewing purposes along with a pair of earphones and both of them grew to be more than that. They became accessories that I use everyday.First and foremost, what impressed me the most about this lens was that how well it's built. The aluminum finish looks and feels really pleasing and the red lining is definitely an icing to the cake. The clip is tight and is safe enough to clip on your phones and not fall off from it.Talking about the actual usage of the lens, I really amazed. I never knew how a wide angle lens could make such a difference in photos. I tested it out right after I received it and tried doing comparisons between photos with and without the lens. I was blown away. I am never taking a selfie without this thing ever again; it just allows more stuff to be in the frame.And even with the lens on, there is no difference in quality. It is just as good as the photos without the lens.Pros:Affordable priceSuperb built qualityNo compromise in photo qualityClip is super tight - is really secure when clipped om to cameraThe lens cover is super handy58 mm lens cap which can be easily found on the web in case you lose it.Compatible with almost any smartphone / tablet cameraWorks as both macro and wide angle lens.Cons:A bit heavy while clipped on ; but the outcome is worth the weight.Black corners when clipped on to some phones (like in the pictures attached) ; works perfectly with most, especially on iPhones and iPads.Overall, its a great piece of tech for your smartphone with the awesome aluminum body and clear picture / video quality. The only problem you might have is if your phone already has a wide angle camera - you'll encounter black corners somewhat like like in the photo below
