Review: Exactly the product I hoped it would be - I needed to replace the gaskets on a set 6 of storage jars. I measured the current one and searched for new gaskets. They fit around the of the jar tightly enough that they do not fall off and are thick enough that the jar seals while allowing closure without difficultly. So far (I just applied them), they are functioning as expected. In my case, I chose the white and I am happy with the choice. The quality of the gasket looks good and size between the gaskets is consistent. Very much worth the price paid.

Don't know why it took me so long to replace them. The fact that these came in so many cute colors makes me wonder why I picked plain white. We kept measuring the inside ring where the gasket sits and came up with a much smaller number. I wasn't sure I was ordering the right size, and I couldn't find any directions on what to measure, but these fit perfectly. The measurement is the overall OUTSIDE width of the ring, not the interior opening. Since there were 8 in the package, I not only replaced the gaskets on all four of the jars I use all the time, but also have spares now.

**Q: Where are they made? I do not need a snippy comment from Buffy.**
A: I was trying to look to see where they were made...but could not find an answer for you.  I got these for my Italian Made Glass Gallon jars...so I am hoping they are also made in Italy.  They do fit my jars perfectly, as the originals had dried and cracked after 10 years of service.  These are good gasket replacements and I would purchase again.  Hope that helps!

**Q: Can these be cleaned in the dishwasher?**
A: I have washed mine in the dishwasher; being silicone, they should be pretty tough. I would make sure to place them top rack only, and pay attention (over time) to make sure the heating element doesn’t dry them out.

**Q: Would this help to tighten a rubber topper lid in a canister?**
A: YES! I replaced all my canister lids with these and they work great and look very clean and fine as well. Make sure to measure the size ring you need for your specific canisters.

**Q: How much do they stretch? I need a replacement for a gasket that was 3.5 inches diameter inside, but I can't find that size anywhere.**
A: They can't stretch. Each outside diameter is 9.5 cm/ 3.75 inches and inside diameter is 6.9 cm/ 2.75 inches.

These gaskets fit great. Just what I needed to replace my cracked and hard rubber gaskets. One of my jars was made in Italy, not a Ball jar. The gasket fit just fine.
