A: I suppose it could be a choking hazard. If you are worried about that, probably best to not buy it.  My grandson, age 1 1/2 hasn't ever put the plastic/magnetic worms in his mouth.   He has enjoyed sitting and playing with this toy.

It's so hard to buy gifts for grandkids and I was looking for something out of the ordinary. This fit the bill! It's a very simple item but it keeps my grandson busy. He has to have a steady hand to line up the magnet with the worm and then the worm with the hole but he loves the challenge - he picked it up pretty quickly and now he's a pro. I recommend for hand/eye coordination.
