Freezer packs are great but if you are on the road and only have a refrigerator in your hotel, gel freezer packs are only good for one day. With these you just dump and replace the ice as needed. 2 of these keeps my food in my insulated lunch bag ice cold all day long. These have a slightly larger opening than my other brand which makes it so much easier to fill using hotel ice machines. These also perform better than my other brand as well.
