This is quality pet food!
We've done the digging and ingredient comparison and a side by side taste of 4 different brands. We mixed 1/2 and 1/2 of her old food (Purina Complete) with theseBlue Buffalo - Our cat picked all the pieces of the blue food out of her bowl and put them a few inches away.Royal Canin - Ate the purina left the RC in the bowl.IAMS Pro - Left in bowl.Acana Meadowlands - sought out these kibble before finishing with the Purina.Things we noticed 3 weeks after we transitioned her to full Acana. Her poops were smaller which meant a less product in the food she wasn't absorbing. Her coat was always nice but the shine on her fur greatly improved. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and her nails look much better on the Acana. no splitting.HIGHLY recommend this food. Don't switch over cold turkey. Take the 7 days to do the transition, slowly replacing some of their current food with the Acana. It's easier on their digestion.

Great for digestive health!
I have a 26 pound Maine coon cat that was vomiting every day! As soon as I put him on this food the vomiting stopped completely. I was told by a lady in Petco that something that is in all other cat foods is bothering his digestive system. Every since he has been on this food he has became more playful even. It's a little pricey but worth it. We now buy the wet cat food in this brand. He feels sooooo much better!!!!

ACANA makes really high quality cat food. My cat likes both the Grasslands and Meadowlands. =^.. ^=

No fillers
Expensive BUT cats love it and no more problems with cats coughing up fur balls.

High Quality Food
I bought this because my cat likes to eat and needs to lose weight; so far so good - this brand keeps him full longer and I'm impressed with the quality of the ingredients. The food smells fresh and is packaged very well. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the large kibble kibble size; the numerous pet feeders I've tried, which all claimed to dispense small amounts per portion, dispensed A LOT more than what was advertised. I'm guessing it was because of the large kibble size, but who knows. The price is high, yes, but it is an investment in your cat's health.

Great quality cat food.
Great quality. Keeps our cats healthy. A little goes a long way because this food is nutrient dense.

She likes it!!!
My cat is trans-species and identifies as a dog. She actually preferred dog food over other brands of cat food until I bought this bag. We have a winner!

Do not buy!!! Hurt my cat!! Had to visit vet 4 times in 1 week!!!
after starting him on this food in mid January 2021, thinking I was putting him on something healthier, he suddenly had developed a feline cystitis attack and the vet seems to think this food caused it due to high protein content. This resulted in bloody urine, decrease in urine, and eventually some of the blood clotted in his urethra and blocked his ability to pee altogether!! He has been on pain medications and a medication to help him pass urine. We have had 3 vet visits this week and the last visit to Animal ER Saturday 13th, the vet kept him overnight to run a test on his urine and he ended up with an infection from all this and she found a stone in his bladder via ultrasound. He’s now on prescription food for life to maintain condition and dissolve stones. The meds have helped and he seems to be feeling better. 6-8 weeks on this new prescription food will tell when I take him back for a reevaluation ultrasound to see if the stone has disappeared. If any of you cat lovers out there notice your cat licking their genitals frequently, visiting the litter box constantly, voiding little amounts or none at all, blood in urine, yowling in pain while urinating, hiding from you or unusual out of their norm behavior, peeing outside the litter box, or feel a firm mass in the abdomen between the back legs (it may be full bladder and if not emptied it will rupture and this can kill a cat in 24-48 hours!) please don’t hesitate to have your baby looked at! Best of luck to all of you and your fur babies!!
