Carb is perfect. Well manufactured.To the folks complaining that the fuel line connector is angled wrong: those fittings are pressed on, you can grab it with a vice grip and turn it. After it's pointing the right way, carefully put it in a bench vice and press it back in. I've done this with several carbs (including this one) and never had a problem. Heck, the OEM replacements don't even come with that fitting at all!

Product as advertised. Minor tweaking and machine runs like new. Arrived as expected.

This may well be a great product. It seemed nice and solid and the movements were all nice and smooth.The OEM carb is in the last picture and according to the manufacturing number, this is a 640084B. When I had dry fit it onto the engine it was quickly apparent that the orientation of the fuel line would be a problem. These pictures show what happened in that the fuel line gets squeezed between that plate with the throttle linkage and the tip of one of the arms would dig into the rubber.So I called the ROP Shop and a helpful and polite staff member agreed right away that it wouldn't work and told me the number of the proper one which I quickly found on Amazon. It wouldn't be adjustable but they said it was the one to get so I did and when it arrived it suffered from the exact same problem. In addition, its choke didn't properly close.Next, I ordered a carb from a different shop, but the fuel inlet on it pointed in the opposite direction entirely.All three of these carbs said they were acceptable replacements for the 640084B and the photos seemed to confirm it so keep that in mind when you're looking. Good Luck. I've looked over all other possible carbs and ordered a ten dollar one. It hasn't snowed here since we had the record November and but now a good accumulation is coming and my thrower is still not back together three weeks after I took it apart. I've had my fill of researching these things on here with the cut and paste descriptions and stock photos that these stores all seem to use.

Carberator installed easily and fit perfectly. All linkage lined up like original equipment. The machine started quickly and I was able the achieve smooth engine performance after some trial and error. Instructions on carb adjustment would have been helpful, however for people with basic small engine skills this is probably not a major issue. All in all very satisfied with this carb particularity at it's very reasonable price.
