These roller skates have been such a great find. I bought them as a 50‑year‑old wanting to try something new, and they’ve made the experience exciting and enjoyable. It's been about 3 years since I've bought them! I hope it's useful to someone. 2020-2021, I used to skate with them through my neighborhood streets every other day (~ 2 miles). Around 2021-2023, I started using them weekly or occasionally to other places. I've taken them to skate parks, regular parks, and parking lots. Overall, they're a great beginner pair, especially if you're unsure if you'll continue the hobby. My purpose was to just cover distance and skate around my streets. For its price, its served its purpose. I'm able to turn, crossover, and skate backwards on them too. TOESTOPS: They work but it'll take a while for you to come to a full stop. I wouldn't rely on them if you're going at fast speeds. They're not the most long-lasting either. Mine are completely shaven down by now so I have to be careful when I use them haha BOOT: They do the job for me! I can still slightly lean to my left/right. I can also lift my leg up and it doesn't feel like a brick. The lining inside my boot only started falling off after the 2.5 year mark. I've noticed that as I use my toestop more, the tips of my boot will scrape as well. WHEELS: I strongly recommend buying 78A if you want to do outdoor skating. It's pricier... but it makes the experience much nicer. Especially in parks with nice sidewalk, I barely have to use my leg muscles to go fast. When I used to the stock wheels, I felt every single little bump. Also, you'll eventually want to replace the lock nuts since they'll get looser within time. It reached a point where the wheels would be loose within a short distance. I had a wheel pop out mid-session and had to skate home with a 3-wheel skate :'] I got myself nylon axle nut covers after that.
