Acecharming Mermaid Tails for Swimming, Girls 3 Pcs Princess Mermaid Swimsuit Kids Bikini Set

My daughter loved this, she has always wanted to be a mermaid and swim as one. She isn't quite ready for a monofin style tail yet so this is probably for now. It ft her quite well. I got the size for 9/10 YO she is 8 but wears 10/12. Fits nicely!

Its adorable, great material, shimmery. There are a couple of small design flaws -- the top rolls down with movement so instead of tying it at the neck, tacking the straps down in a crisscross holds it in place. There is an adorable bow on the back of the bottom, which works better at the back of the mermaid tail so that all 3 pieces can be worn together. And you want the opening at the bottom so the little mermaid can walk, but a zipper or velcro would be cuter. The little girl we got it for loves it -- worth making those small adjustments!

I bought this for "my little mermaid" and was not expecting much but thought she would enjoy the fish tail. I was surprised at how well-made it really is and the texture is smooth and soft; not flimsy at all. The only complaint I might have is the "skirt" (fish tail) is so long she''ll be wearing it for years; might be a good thing!Update: it was not as well made.as I originally thought and the "scales" started coming off.during our first trip to the beach. I couldn't pass this up for the price. I could not have made a mermaid tail for what I paid for this one, in nice fabric AND with accessories. My granddaughter loves it! The fabric is silky and sparkly. I like the fact that it has shorts as well as a tail, and she can walk in it. She has not worn the cute little top yet since she had another "mermaid bra" that covered her 4 year-old body more appropriately for a birthday party. Her parents didn't want her to be so exposed around friends. But I'm sure she will wear it a lot this summer!

My daughter just loves this! I actually sewed the bottom together because I had missed the part where it said the fin part was open. This worked just great sewn up too. She could not be happier and I am surprised that even my 12 year old wants to get one too. The material is not flimsy and is great for swimming. We had an issue with the halter top elastic breaking but I was able to fix that. For the price I think this is above expectations.

This is so cute! Definetly runs very, very small. I ordered a 5/6 for my niece who's a small four year old and it's going to be a tight fit. Go at least two sizes up and this set is perfect!
