Worked at first, then after about 1 hour it did not.
I seen the reviews, but wanted to give it a shot myself. I tested this unit with constant video signal via HDMI 1080p 60Hz. It lasted about 1 hour before the red input signal error light stated to flicker more and more. I was watching the logs on my laptop and seen it constantly dropping frames. I checked the temp and it was at about 103° F. At this point I unplugged/replugged the HDMI to see if it fixed it, nothing. I then unplugged/replugged the USB, which power cycles it, and then it never received video any longer. I tried another USB port, and the error light stopped for a few seconds, then flickered more, and still never received video. At this point, it no longer works. Returning unit, will try another.

Gets hot and picture warps
Bought two of these for running livestream. Camera 1 was a Canon C100 MK2 and camera 2 was a PTZ Optics camera. After a few minutes, the picture gets distorted. Sometimes the resolution changes and warps back. Returned one unit the first week that we used it due to this issue and returned the second a month after, due to the same issue. If you're running SDI, I'd stay away from these.

Easy to use - Drops after 12min
Seems to drop video stream after about 12min. Easy to set up, autodetects framerate and it supports a very wide range of framerates. If I can resolve the issue, I will update to 5 stars. Using with my Canon camera for video conferencing/webcasting.

It just plugs and plays for MacOS. No any special thing needed. This helps to make your video meeting or recording so much better.

Unusable audio.
Plug and play and video quality was decent, but audio was unusable. A static sounding popping noise, similar to sample rate errors or audio errors. This would occur with very low level audio so it was not clipping.Tested with several sources, both HDMI and SDI and several destinations, Mac and PC. Also changed every aspect of audio settings on the sources and destinations. Bit rate, sample rate, channels. Very thoroughly tested by A/V pro and audio issue occurred every time within minutes of first use.
